    The Booking Process

    Booking a trip for your participant is simple and hassle-free. Here’s how it works:

    Consultation:

    We’ll collaborate with you to assess your participant’s goals, support needs, and accessibility requirements. Together, we’ll recommend a trip that aligns with their NDIS plan.

    Quote & Payment:

    You’ll receive a detailed quote, including a travel invoice (paid upfront) and an NDIS invoice (claimed post-trip). This ensures complete transparency about what is covered by NDIS and what the participant pays out-of-pocket.

    Deposit & Payment Plan:

    A deposit secures the booking, and flexible instalment plans are available for the travel portion.

    Enjoy the Trip:

    Once booked, your participant will receive a booking package with all necessary travel details to help them prepare for their trip.

    NDIS Claim:

    After the trip, we’ll handle the claim submission to NDIA for supports provided, making the process worry-free for you and your participant.

    Which NDIS funding category or "bucket" does travel support come from?
    Supports during travel are funded from the Core Supports budget, specifically under social and community participation. STA is too risky, so we focus on claiming from core supports.
    How does this work if holidays aren't funded by the NDIS?
    The NDIS doesn’t fund the holiday itself, but it does cover the support services provided during the trip, like personal care, transport, and social participation, making travel possible.
    How have the recent NDIS changes affected your services?
    Our services continue as normal. The recent changes ensure NDIS funds are used correctly, weeding out dodgy providers. The only adjustment we’ve made is ceasing to claim funds under STA and returning to our pre-covid process to focus on core supports only.
    Are your trips funded under STA?
    No, we no longer claim trips under STA funding due to recent changes and the high risk of claims being rejected by the NDIA. Instead, we focus on using Core Supports to cover necessary services during travel, such as personal care and community participation. This ensures compliance with NDIS guidelines and reduces the risk of funding rejection. Participants may pay more out-of-pocket for travel costs, but using Core Supports provides a safer, more reliable way to access funding for travel-related supports.
    How do you ensure invoices are compliant with NDIS guidelines?
    We follow the NDIS price guide for all supports and provide detailed, line-item invoices that meet compliance standards. This ensures all claims are accurate and easy to process.
    How are travel costs and NDIS supports separated on the invoice?
    We provide two separate invoices: one for travel costs (paid upfront by the participant) and another for NDIS supports, which are claimed post-trip.
