MEALS

Included in the price of the trip are 3 main meals per day. Drinks and snacks are extra and are to be taken from your spending money. Our crew aim to provide healthy and balanced meals wherever we go and dietary requirements will be accounted for.

SPENDING MONEY

You will need to have some spending money to purchase drinks, snacks and souvenirs. You can choose to bring your own money to manage yourself, or it can be added to the holiday invoice and your Support Crew will have access to these funds to help you monitor your spending.

MEDICATION

All medication will be administered and double checked by our qualified Support Crew.

SUPPORT CREW

Our friendly support crew are a unique blend of travel guide mixed with disability support worker. They are trained to administer medication, assist with budgeting and if required provide more personalised care. They work hard, make sure all our passengers’ needs are catered for with dignity and respect. But above all, they make sure everyone has a lot of fun in the process!

RATIOS

Our pricing is based on ratios of Support Crew to Passenger to ensure you receive the appropriate level of care and that we have enough staff on board to assist in a group setting. The ratios range from 1:5 for passengers with high independence and social skills who can travel in a group with 1 carer and up to 4 other passengers, up to 1:1 for passengers requiring complete personal assistance with one-on-one care. To determine what ratio might suit your needs, talk to our Holiday Consultants.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is typically twin share unless a single room is requested. Rooms will be comfortable and well-located. Accessible rooms are available for passengers with mobility needs, these needs must be discussed with our team prior to booking to ensure we can book you the right type of room.

TRANSPORT

Our tours involve flights, buses, trains and ships. We have a specialised accessible tour bus with wheelchair lift and trailer for mobility equipment .

Each mode of transport is assessed for its reliability and accessibility before booking. If you have specific mobility needs, these must be discussed with our bookings team to ensure we can accommodate you.

DEPARTURE CITY

Most of our coach tours depart from Melbourne and the cruise departure points vary. If you don’t live close to the departure point of an itinerary, we can arrange flight transfers. If you need full support during the transfer, we can arrange a Support Crew to accompany you on the flight, or you can take the flight unaccompanied and we can meet you at the airport and take you to meet the rest of the tour group.

LUGGAGE

Passengers may take 2 items of luggage on tour: 1 large suitcase up to 20kg and 1 smaller item up to 7kg.

ACTIVITIES

We aim to complete every activity on our group itineraries unless there are circumstances preventing it such as weather. If there is something you do not wish to do on the itinerary or you would like to add an activity, please tell us at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

FITNESS & ACTIVITY LEVEL

Passengers need to have a level of health and fitness that allows them to participate in the activities on the itinerary. However, one thing that makes us different is that we like to push boundaries. We will do everything to ensure our experiences can be accessed by as many people as possible.

Discuss any health or mobility issues you may have with our Holiday Consultants prior to booking to ensure we book you an experience suitable for you.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

If travelling overseas or on a cruise, you will need a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining from the time of return. Our bookings team will organise any overseas visas required. For vaccination advice, please speak with your doctor regarding your destination well in advance of your departure date.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is not necessary, but it is strongly advised to take it. We can arrange it for you and include it on your travel invoice.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS

During your trip, our Support Crew will take photos and videos of you and your travel buddies. After your trip, you will receive an exclusive photo album, a collage of the best photos and a video to share with your loved ones via YouTube so you can remember your experience forever. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube for all our holiday photos and videos.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

If for some reason you need to change or cancel your trip, please phone our bookings team. Refer to our terms and conditions for more details on cancellation cutoffs and fees.
